The HOPE Project

We believe in children. We value healthy communities and will do our part to lend support to underprivileged children. We aim to be trendsetters in making an impact on the world around us by promoting awareness and support for organizations that brighten the lives of children. The bottom line on our financial sheets is not the most important factor. We want to make an impact by working with charities and organizations that work to better the lives of children and build strong communities. We HOPE to leave this world a little better than when we started.

In order to promote this mission, we have established The HOPE Project. Each month, we will prayerfully select a charity, which is focused on children. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of HOPE project merchandise will be given to that organization.

The HOPE Project Dolls

It has been a true labor of love to design and produce these precious dolls. There are currently 4 dolls in the collection – Hope, Joy, Grace and Faith. Each is dressed in a special two piece ensemble which lists their name and supporting scripture. These verses have been the cornerstone for our family and business.

Hope – "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord; plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Joy – "For the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

Grace – “For it is by GRACE you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." Ephesians 2:8

Faith - "FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1

The HOPE Project Tees

Why should the dolls be the only ones who get to wear these adorable scripture shirts? That was our question as well. We designed girls and adult woman’s tees to match. For the Fall/Winter season, our tees are long sleeve, interlock cotton. The girls and woman’s tees are fitted for more refined style and comfort.

$5.00 from the sale of each doll and or t-shirt will be donated to the selected charity each month. Below is a listing of the current HOPE projects. This list will be updated each month. You can also learn more about The HOPE Project activities that take place in our store by visiting our blog at:

Our current HOPE projects:

October 2011

1. Operation Food Search
The mission of Operation Food Search is to provide food and other basic necessities to individuals in need to help alleviate the burden of hunger and its consequences.

What does this mean?

Operation Food Search works tirelessly to fight hunger in more ways than one. While they are a leader at collecting and distributing food throughout the bi-state region, Operation Food Search goes beyond just supplying agencies with free food. With comprehensive nutrition education programs, an innovative weekend backpack program, and environmentally-friendly green initiatives, they fight hunger with knowledge, empowerment, and hope.

In addition, Operation Food Search has become a leader in ensuring that no person in the bi-state region goes cold during the winter, or must go without essential personal care items. In partnership with Kurt and Brenda Warner's First Things First Foundation, they distributes nearly 20,000 winter coats throughout the region to keep St. Louis warm. In the spring, Operation Food Search teams up with the Girl Scouts Council of Eastern Missouri to collect and distribute over one million personal care items (soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, etc.) to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford such basic necessities.

As an organization, Operation Food Search is heavily involved in the community. They regularly partner with local businesses and organizations of all sizes, and you can always find great events in metropolitan area that are put on to raise awareness and help the goal of ending hunger. We love volunteers and we love making friends!
Together, we can impact lives one meal at a time.

2. Show Hope & Missouri Baptist Children’s Home
Show Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes individuals and communities to meet the most pressing needs of orphans in distress by providing 1) homes for waiting children through adoption aid grants, and 2) life-saving medical care for orphans with special needs.

Established in 2003 as Shaohannah’s Hope, Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth initially founded Show Hope out of their desire to see more children find their way into forever families. Though many families they talked to were willing to adopt, the financial costs to adoption were simply too high.

Originally named after the Chapman’s first adopted daughter, Shaohannah Hope Chapman, Shaohannah’s Hope has grown far beyond the initial vision of helping a few orphans find homes. In 2009, after changing the name to Show Hope, this organization has seen an amazing explosion in growth. From a six-story caring facility in China, equipped to provide surgeries and medical care to special needs orphans, to multiplying the effects of the adoption grant program by assisting churches in setting up their own adoption funds, Show Hope continues to expand its remarkable worldwide impact.

Our Birthday program:

Register your children`s birthdays with us and we will send you a discount to be used during your child`s birthday month. When you make your birthday month purchase, we will donate $5 to The HOPE Project charity designated that month. We want to help connect our children with the charities we serve.
